Robbery Plot Turns Deadly: Two Sentenced in Glasgow Killing of 22-Year-Old

Two individuals have been sentenced in connection with the 2023 killing of a young man in Glasgow, a case that began as a planned robbery but ended in fatal gunfire.

The victim, Bryan Pedroza, 22, was found dead inside his crashed car on March 19, 2023. Delaware State Police initially responded to what appeared to be a car crash on Old County Road, only to discover he had been shot.

Investigators later revealed that Pedroza had been lured to the area as part of a setup. He had driven there with Sierra Steiner, 30, when Charles Lowe, 47, arrived separately and approached the vehicle armed with a gun.

When Pedroza attempted to flee, Lowe opened fire, fatally shooting him. His vehicle then veered off the road and crashed into a wooded area.

Authorities tracked down the suspects within weeks. On April 8, 2023, law enforcement officers located them in Elkton, Maryland. After attempting to escape and crashing their vehicle, both were taken into custody.

Lowe was convicted of second-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy and firearm-related charges. He has been sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Steiner, found guilty of similar charges, received a 21-year prison sentence.

Officials said the case highlights how a planned robbery quickly escalated into a deadly act of violence.
