TANEY COUNTY, Mo. -- The White River Valley Electric Cooperative (WRVEC) says they are having to put planned outages in effect for its members Tuesday due to fires in part of the Mark Twain National Forest putting a strain on electrical services.
The power outages will affect homes being fed power lines and electrical services impacted by the Sugar Fire in the Glade Top Trail area.
WRVEC says the planned outages are for the safety of their members and they have already been notifying affected residents.
