RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. , President Donald Trump is scheduled to travel to Southern California on Tuesday for a rare visit to the region.
Trump will attend a Republican National Committee fundraising event at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the White House schedule.
The president is expected to depart Washington, D.C., shortly after 1 p.m. Eastern Time and land in Southern California by early Tuesday evening. He is set to participate in an RNC roundtable at 6:30 p.m.
During the event, Trump is expected to discuss his administration’s economic and crime policies.
His visit is also expected to trigger temporary flight restrictions and traffic delays around Los Angeles International Airport and the South Bay area.
Trump’s most recent official California appearance came in January 2025, when he toured areas damaged by the Palisades and Eaton fires.
