A Connecticut man died after falling from an upper deck of Madison Square Garden during a concert Saturday night, police confirmed.
Paul Kueker, 51, of Niantic, was attending the concert with his wife when he fell from the arena’s 300 level just before 10 p.m., police said.
Officers found Kueker unconscious and unresponsive, with injuries consistent with a fall from a significant height.
First responders transported him to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Kueker is survived by two children.
Wilton, CT rock band “Goose” was performing at the time.
In a Facebook statement, the band said it was “deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred.”
NYPD said it is investigating what happened. It said it does not suspect foul play was involved.
