Council of Churches of the Ozarks Diaper Bank of the Ozarks is asking for diaper donations for the upcoming National Diaper Need Awareness Week.

Council of Churches of the Ozarks shared the following on their Facebook page.

“Diaper Need Awareness Week is in September!

… Unbelievable Facts:

• Nearly 1/2 of all Americans report difficulty affording clean diapers.
• A lack of clean diapers can result in health issues, and are a common cause of neglect situations and abuse.
• Too many families are having to choose between simply affording rent and buying diapers.

Diaper Bank urgently needs YOUR help to replenish the stock of size 5 and 6 diapers, which are almost fully depleted.

Every diaper makes a WORLD of difference in the life of a child and a family.”

National Diaper Need Awareness Week, created to draw attention to the issue of diaper need in the U.S., is September 23rd through the 29th, 2024.

If you are interested in donating to Diaper Bank of the Ozarks, know the organization accepts physical and monetary donations.
