The city of Bridgeport marked a key moment for its police force as seven officers were officially promoted during a swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.
Ceremony Led by City Officials
The event took place at the Margaret E. Morton Government Center and was hosted by Mayor Joe Ganim and Police Chief Roderick Porter.
City leaders recognized the officers’ achievements and emphasized the responsibility that comes with leadership roles in law enforcement.
