Delaware State Police say they’ve made an arrest for a July 4th shooting near Arden. Paul Waller, 39, of Wilmington, was arrested today in Pennsylvania.
He’s accused of shooting a woman in the face outside a pizza shop at the corner of Marsh and Harvey Roads on Saturday around 6:45 p.m.
Troopers say the shooting happened after the two got into an argument.
Hospital staff treated the victim, who is in serious condition.
Authorities will extradite Waller back to Delaware to face charges including first-degree attempted murder and a weapons count.
