SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — A 58-year-old man has been taken into custody following serious allegations of sexual abuse involving a minor, authorities confirmed.
According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began after a report was filed through the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.
Investigation and Arrest
Officials said investigators conducted a forensic interview with the juvenile, during which the victim alleged abuse by Donnie Earls Jr.
Based on the findings, authorities obtained an arrest warrant on April 10. Earls was later arrested without incident and taken into custody.
Charges Filed
Earls is currently being held on multiple serious charges, including:
- Rape
- Sexually grooming a child
- Possession of sexually explicit material involving a minor
- Pandering or possessing material depicting sexual conduct involving a child
