Philadelphia homicide detectives are looking into a double shooting in North Philadelphia that left one person dead late Sunday night.
Crime scene investigators placed evidence markers across the roadway, sidewalk, and a porch along North 24th Street near Cambria as they processed the scene.
Police were called to the location just before midnight. Upon arriving, officers discovered a man and a woman, both in their 60s, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to Temple University Hospital, where investigators told Action News the woman was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the condition of the second victim.
Police have not announced any arrests, and no information has been released regarding what may have led up to the shooting.
