Two former Walmart employees who threatened to kill a co-worker have received probation after pleading guilty.
Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Scott Ellington sentenced Aquawon Blair and Jamari Blankenship to 18 months of probation after each entered negotiated guilty pleas to first-degree terroristic threatening.
Ellington also sentenced Blair to 12 months of suspended imposition of sentence (SIS) for harassment and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance under 4 ounces, both Class A misdemeanors. Blair additionally received 30 days SIS for a Class C misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault.
Authorities nolle prossed the harassment and third-degree assault charges against Blankenship.
The judge ordered both men to pay court costs and fees in monthly installments starting June 1.
Jonesboro police arrested the pair after a co-worker reported that they pulled a gun on him and threatened to shoot him following his complaints about their job performance.
