North Carolina Women Arrested for DWI After Repeatedly Threatening Man With Her Car: ‘Too patient when it comes to these folks’

A North Carolina man’s outdoor chores turned into a viral TikTok moment after a woman used her car to threaten him, nearly striking him multiple times before police arrested her.

TikTok user Iammrwack, known as Mr. Wack, captured himself on video attempting to move a trashcan into position — a task he couldn’t complete because a woman had deliberately parked near his mailbox, blocking his way. Visibly frustrated, he says, “I don’t get it.” The woman then pulled her vehicle away, leading Mr. Wack to believe her antics were finally over.

The woman then made a 360-degree turn directly toward Mr. Wack, nearly hitting him in the street. He asked if she intended to hit him, to which she replied “No,” while reversing. Unfazed, she pulled back into the same spot as he stood there, visibly irritated and simply trying to finish his work.

As Mr. Wack walked around to the driver’s side, the woman asked if he could “smell” the trash, repeatedly taunting him: “Do you smell it? Do you smell it, mother[expletive]?” Showing remarkable restraint, Mr. Wack said nothing beyond asking her to “please move.”

He eventually managed to place the trashcan at the curb — at which point she reversed into it, attempting to knock it over. Barely watching where she was going, she nearly struck Mr. Wack again on her way out. She missed him, but hit a neighbor’s trashcan and scraped her own vehicle in the process.

In a follow-up video, Mr. Wack reported that police arrived and arrested the woman, capturing the moment on camera. She was charged with driving while impaired — a DWI — and hit with a $6,969 bond.

Viewers online argue the woman should’ve been charged with more

Beyond the online ridicule, many viewers insisted the charges didn’t go far enough. Given how recklessly she had wielded her vehicle, nearly striking Mr. Wack multiple times, commenters felt authorities had let her off easy. “Y’all be way too patient when it comes to these folks…” one viewer wrote.

“According to the federal government, her pointing that car at you was attempted murder,” another TikTok user wrote in what became the video’s most-liked comment. Others agreed, adding that the same standard applies at the “state and local” level as well.

Some users shared how they personally would have handled the situation. “She’d be digging that garbage out of her car and her lap if that was me.”

One sharp-eyed viewer spotted an ironic detail on the back of her vehicle. “Does her sticker really say ‘be the reason someone has a better day’ and then acts like that?!?!” they wrote. Add ‘hypocrite’ to her growing list of offenses.

If nothing else, the incident should serve as a serious wake-up call — because that kind of behavior makes her just as much a danger to herself as to everyone around her.
