Nine men were arrested in Northwest Arkansas during a multi-agency child exploitation sting led by the Fayetteville Police Department.
The Fayetteville Police Department announced the arrests on May 5.
Investigators from the Arkansas State Police Human Trafficking Division, the Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and Homeland Security Investigations joined Fayetteville police in carrying out the operation.
The investigation lasted several days and involved multiple law enforcement agencies across the region.
Authorities charged all nine suspects with internet stalking of a child.
- 57-year-old Kenneth Evans (Farmington)
- 32-year-old Roy Frederick (Lowell)
- 41-year-old Marc Ewart (Rogers)
- 56-year-old Lucino Vazquez (Springdale)
- 40-year-old Jose Arguello-Tello (Siloam Springs)
- 31-year-old Wesley Henry (Fayetteville)
- 21-year-old Tanar Breshears (Gentry)
- 45-year-old Charles Allen (Bentonville)
- 23-year-old Pedro Galindo-Alvarez (Fayetteville)
Preliminary arrest reports say the men communicated online with someone they believed was a 14-year-old girl, who was actually an undercover officer posing as a juvenile female.
Authorities arrested all of the suspects after they traveled to meet the fake juvenile. Investigators said the men believed they would be exchanging money for sexual acts.
KATV will share additional details as they become available.
Note: All suspects accused of a crime are assumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
