Herbalism 101: Harvesting Roots

Join me at Page Street Prairie as we do the yearly root harvest!
We’ll harvest echinacea root and do a tincture making demonstration.
We’ll also harvest several other roots including dandelion, yellow dock, valerian, blackberry, Jerusalem artichoke and more!
We’ll talk about what each root is used for and the basics of root harvesting, including what tools I keep on hand.
Class is $10 per participant and includes a portion of some roots for you to take home as well.
