Last year the Auto Enthusiast Community of 417 blew it out of the park when we held our inaugural Frozen Santa event at Detail Garage. We collected enough toys to donate to Toys for Tots to fill the back of my Nissan Murano (with all the rear seats laid down) as well as the passenger side seat.

We also collected donations of camping gear for The Connecting Grounds Homeless Heros Program and that was a separate trip of a filled Murano to take all those donations to them.

This year we're truly hoping for another successful event. We will again, be collecting toys for Toys for Tots in hopes of filling my 2019 Mustang EcoBoost from front seat to trunk.

We've decided this year's new charity will be The Kitchen's Rare Breed Youth Services. We held a car show to benefits them earlier this year and learned a great deal about Rare Breed while working with them. We'll be collecting personal hygiene items, arts and crafting supplies (primarily canvases, paints, brushes, sketch pads, any kind of crafting supplies) for the youth as well as laundry supplies.

I'm adding a new contest to the event, Best Santa Look Alike, to make things fun and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as a special prize for best Santa Ho Ho Ho! You never know what kind of goodies I'll be passing out just for fun :)
