Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets after two winning Powerball entries worth a combined $3 million remain unclaimed in Arkansas.
According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, both winning tickets were purchased using player-selected numbers rather than quick picks.
One ticket, worth $2 million, was sold at BB One Stop in Beebe. The ticket matched the first five numbers and included the Power Play option, doubling the original $1 million prize.
The second ticket, valued at $1 million, was sold at Maverik in Rogers. It also matched the first five numbers in the drawing.
As of now, neither prize has been claimed. Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to come forward and collect their winnings.
Officials are encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket for the drawing to double-check their numbers.
