A suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that took place earlier this month in North Little Rock, police confirmed.
Suspect Faces Capital Murder Charge
The North Little Rock Police Department announced the arrest of Travis Hubbert, 44, who is now charged with:
- Capital murder
- Possession of a firearm
The charges are linked to the death of Ronald Stout, 60.
What Happened
The fatal incident occurred in the early hours of March 6, 2026, when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of North Magnolia Street.
Upon arrival:
- Officers discovered Stout with a gunshot wound
- He was pronounced dead at the scene
Police Investigation Leads to Arrest
Following the shooting, detectives launched a homicide investigation that led to identifying Hubbert as the primary suspect. Authorities later issued a warrant and took him into custody.
Current Status of the Case
Hubbert is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility:
