Two Teens Charged After Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation at Bryant Kohl’s

BRYANT, Ark. — Two teenagers have been charged after a bomb threat triggered a large police response and evacuation at a local retail store in Bryant earlier this month.

According to the Bryant Police Department, officers were dispatched around 7:20 p.m. on April 2, 2026, after receiving a report of a bomb threat targeting a Kohl’s store located on Alcoa Exchange.

Stores Evacuated, K-9 Unit Deployed

Authorities evacuated the Kohl’s store along with nearby businesses as a precaution.

The scene was later cleared with assistance from a bomb detection K-9 unit from the Little Rock Police Department. No explosives were found.

Teens Identified and Charged

Following an investigation by the department’s Criminal Investigation Division, police identified two suspects:

  • A 14-year-old boy
  • A 15-year-old boy

Both teens have been charged with threatening a fire or bomb, authorities said.

Case Moves to Juvenile Court

Officials confirmed the case will now be forwarded to the Saline County Juvenile Division for further proceedings.
