A late-night shooting in Country Club Hills, Missouri left two men dead, prompting an active investigation by local authorities.
Shooting Reported Late Thursday Night
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire just before 10:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Gatesworth Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the location.

As of Friday morning, officials have not released the identities of the victims. Authorities have also not disclosed any details about what may have led to the shooting.
