A fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 395 in Lisbon early Saturday morning has left one person dead and another injured, according to authorities.
Driver Pronounced Dead at Scene
Officials confirmed that one of the drivers, identified as Keith Mutch, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision. The crash occurred in the early hours and resulted in significant disruption, shutting down both directions of the highway for several hours.
Investigators said the impact of the crash caused Mutch to be ejected from his vehicle. He was later found in the center median of the interstate.
Second Driver Suffers Minor Injuries
The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. No further details about their condition have been released.
Crash Under Investigation
The incident is currently being examined by the Connecticut State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad, which is working to determine the cause of the crash.
