A section of North Outer Road 70 west of Kingdom City will close for one week to allow crews to complete box culvert work, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.
Construction crews plan to shut down the road from March 30 through April 4. Drivers who typically travel along North Outer Road 70 will need to take an alternate route.
During the six-day closure, crews will fill in the old box culvert, the release stated. Workers recently built a new, larger box culvert to replace the older structure.
This work is part of MoDOT’s Improve I-70 Program.
