POLK COUNTY, Mo. -- A motorcyclist from Nebraska is seriously injured after a crash in Polk County at around 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 69-year-old Russell Anderson of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, was traveling south on Missouri Highway 13 two miles south of Brighton when the crash happened.
MSHP says at around 11:15 a.m., traffic was slowing down and to avoid hitting any other vehicles, Anderson's motorcycle drove off the road and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle.
Anderson was transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield with serious injuries.
