SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Missouri State Bears are adding another big matchup to their future football schedules as they prepare to move to the Conference USA.
Missouri State University and Auburn University have agreed to a football game for the 2027 season. The Bears will travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2027, and face off against the Auburn Tigers in their first-ever matchup against each other.
MSU is slated to join the FBS as a member of Conference USA starting July 1, 2025. The Bears' initial non-conference slate for 2025 includes away games against USC and Marshall as well as home games against SMU and UT Martin. The CUSA portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Auburn game is the first game scheduled for MSU for the 2027 season.
