Multiple St. Louis Shootings Leave 3 Dead, 4 Injured Overnight

A series of shootings across St. Louis late Friday night into early Saturday morning left three people dead and four others injured, including a teenager, according to police.

Five Separate Incidents Reported Across the City

Authorities confirmed that at least five separate shooting incidents occurred within a span of several hours. Investigators noted that several of the shootings took place at or near gas stations.

Teen Injured in Possible Self-Defense Shooting

The first reported incident happened Friday afternoon on South Grand Boulevard, where a 15-year-old was shot at a gas station. The scene, located near SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, had dozens of evidence markers.

Preliminary findings suggest the teen may have been shot by an individual claiming self-defense.

Deadly Shooting in Soulard Neighborhood

Around 6 p.m., a shooting in the Soulard area near South 7th Street and Russell Boulevard resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man. Another individual was also injured.

Police said gunfire initially erupted inside a convenience store before continuing outside near nearby businesses, including gas stations and retail stores.

Additional Fatal Shootings Overnight

Later in the evening, a man was fatally shot in the 4100 block of West Florissant Avenue. A second victim from that incident later arrived at a hospital for treatment.

Just after 1 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to another deadly shooting in the 4300 block of South Broadway, where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another Victim Critically Injured

At approximately 2:25 a.m., police were called to the 1900 block of Locust Street, where they found a man suffering from critical gunshot injuries.

Investigations Ongoing

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is actively investigating all incidents. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the shootings to come forward.
