Memphis Woman Charged in Killing of Man Accused of Child Molestation Faces $1 Million Bond

An 18-year-old woman is facing serious criminal charges after allegedly shooting and killing a man she believed had molested a child, according to court records.

Alishon Torres has been charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and evidence tampering. Her bond has been set at nearly $1 million.

 Charges and Arrest Details

Authorities say Torres was taken into custody on March 5, 2026. Jail records from the Shelby County Jail show her bond is set at $999,998.

Victim Found Shot Multiple Times

According to investigators, officers responded around 2 a.m. on February 26 to Willowview Avenue, where they discovered a man’s body.

The victim, identified by family members as Noe Santillan Rincon, had reportedly been shot multiple times — including a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

 Evidence and Investigation Findings

Court documents reveal that Rincon had been staying with a member of Torres’ family prior to the incident. Investigators say Torres later contacted that family member using the victim’s phone, raising suspicion.

Police also located the victim’s van at an apartment complex a day after the shooting.

 Suspect’s Statement to Police

According to court filings, Torres told investigators that a 5-year-old girl had accused Rincon of inappropriate contact weeks before the shooting.

Torres allegedly said she encountered Rincon on the street, confronted him about the accusation, and then shot him multiple times.

Authorities claim she admitted to:

  • Firing at least 10 shots
  • Taking a photo of the scene
  • Moving and repainting the victim’s van
  • Disposing of one of the firearms used

Police reported finding a handgun in her possession at the time of arrest, which she allegedly identified as one of the weapons used.

 Ongoing Legal Process

The case remains under investigation as Torres faces multiple felony charges. Officials have not released further details regarding court proceedings or potential trial dates.
