OKLAHOMA CITY — A head-on collision in southwest Oklahoma City left one person dead and another injured on Wednesday morning.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to the crash near South Western Avenue and Southwest 112th Street.
Investigators believe one of the vehicles was traveling at a high speed when it crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car.
Officials said the driver of the speeding vehicle died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the person killed.
At least one other person suffered injuries in the crash. Officials have not provided any details about their condition at this time.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
