A Mays Landing resident with more than 25 years of weapons offenses pleaded guilty last week to both gun and drug charges.
Lee Jaudon, 44, now faces a 14‑year prison sentence and a period of seven years during which parole will be unavailable.
Authorities arrested him on July 29, 2025, after the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit conducted a two‑month investigation that culminated in a search of his Sandpiper apartment on Harding Highway.
During the search, police discovered a bag in the bedroom containing 950 folds of heroin packaged for sale, 110 multicolored pressed pills suspected to be methamphetamine or fentanyl, 34 oxycodone hydrochloride tablets, and $2,599 in cash, as detailed in the affidavit of probable cause obtained by BreakingAC.
The same bag also held a Glock 44 .22‑caliber handgun loaded with ten rounds in the magazine and an additional 99 .22‑caliber cartridges, according to the affidavit.
After being read his Miranda rights, Jaudon told officers that all items found in the residence belonged to him.
Court records indicate that Jaudon is classified as a “certain person” prohibited from possessing firearms, a status resulting from multiple convictions dating back to at least 2000.
His most recent incarceration stemmed from a 2017 gun and drug case in Dennis Township, Cape May County, as documented by court records.
He was released from prison on November 22, 2024; eight months later, he was detained at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where he remains awaiting sentencing.
Jaudon entered guilty pleas to possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a handgun while distributing a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a weapon by a certain person.
