Hundreds of young athletes have gathered in South Jersey for an elite basketball training experience this week.
The 2026 JT Elite Basketball Camp is underway at the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford, drawing a large crowd of aspiring players eager to sharpen their game.
Running the sessions is Jason Thompson, a South Jersey native who spent eight seasons in the NBA. The former pro is bringing his professional background to the drills and instruction on the court.
Participants are receiving direct, hands-on coaching from a staff of experienced trainers along with current college and professional basketball players who are lending their expertise to the program.
The camp is designed to help young athletes develop their skills, build teamwork, and strengthen their character, all while keeping the experience enjoyable and engaging.
