Search Ends as Paddleboarder’s Remains Found at Chesco State Park

A state park in Chester County, PA has reopened after officials recovered the body of a missing paddleboarder.

NBC10’s David Charns reports that the incident happened at Marsh Creek State Park in Upper Uwchlan Township around 10 p.m. Saturday.

“We’re told that 3 people were on paddleboards out here in the water, and that is when they fell into the water, and that is when they fell into the water during those storms that blew through overnight,” said Charns.

Officials reopened the park at 8 a.m. Sunday after recovering the paddleboarder’s body.

The victim’s identity was not released.
