A 17-year-old male died Sunday night after a car struck him in Tolland, Connecticut State Police said.
Police said a black Ford Taurus carrying three male passengers was traveling south on Crystal Lake Road near Willow Creek Drive around 10:40 p.m. when the crash occurred.
The victim, identified as Blake Lemire of Coventry, was standing in the roadway when the car struck him, according to police.
Police said the victim suffered fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Vernon, remained on scene and sustained no apparent injury, according to police.
