Four people were arrested Monday afternoon after a fight broke out in the middle of a Vernon road.
Vernon police say officers responded to Vernon Avenue around 1:02 p.m. and found multiple people fighting in the roadway. Police say the fight involved weapons, including a machete and a shovel.
Vernon EMS responded, but all parties refused medical treatment.
Police charged Trevor Galovich, 20, with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Threatening in the Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Breach of Peace in the Second Degree. They held him on a $25,000 surety bond.
Police charged Michael Dejesus, 19, with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Assault in the Third Degree and Breach of Peace in the Second Degree. They held him on a $5,000 surety bond.
Police charged Ernesto Hernandez, 18, with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Interfering with a Police Officer, Assault in the Third Degree and Breach of Peace in the Second Degree. They also held him on a $5,000 surety bond.
Police arrested a juvenile and charged them with Breach of Peace in the Second Degree, then released them on a juvenile summons.
