A Buffalo teenager pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of first-degree manslaughter, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
Buffalo Police responded to Parkdale and Forest Avenue on May 4, 2025, following a report of an assault on an elderly man.
According to the district attorney’s office, the 17-year-old repeatedly kicked and stomped on the victim’s head after he fell to the ground. The victim, 88-year-old Andrew Krawczuk, was transported to ECMC, where he later died.
Officers located and arrested the teenager on Baynes Street. He was 16 years old at the time of the incident. Authorities will not release his name due to his age.
