Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar Plead Not Guilty to Child Endangerment Charges in Arkansas

Couple Faces Multiple Felony Counts

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Arkansas — Reality TV personality Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra Duggar have pleaded not guilty to multiple charges related to child endangerment, according to court records.

The couple is each facing four counts of false imprisonment and four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor following their arrest in March 2026.

Charges Follow Local Police Investigation

Authorities say the case stems from an investigation conducted by the Tontitown Police Department. While officials have not publicly released detailed findings, the charges were formally filed in Washington County.

Court officials confirmed that the not guilty pleas were entered through the couple’s attorney in Elm Springs District Court. Their next court appearance is scheduled for August 10.

Separate Case Pending in Florida

In addition to the Arkansas case, Joseph Duggar is also facing separate allegations in Bay County, Florida.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, he has been charged with child molestation after allegedly admitting to inappropriate contact with a 9-year-old girl during a family trip in 2020.

A hearing in that case is scheduled for May 18.

Legal Proceedings Ongoing

Both cases remain active, with court proceedings expected to continue in the coming months. Authorities have not released additional details as investigations are still ongoing.
