STRATFORD, Connecticut — Police are searching for two armed suspects who robbed a CITGO gas station at gunpoint Thursday night in Stratford.
The robbery occurred just before 8:40 p.m. at a station located on Barnum Avenue.
Suspects Threatened Customers and Employees
According to police, two individuals dressed in all black clothing and wearing gloves entered the gas station armed with handguns.
The suspects ordered both customers and employees to get on the floor before stealing:
- Cash from the register
- A customer’s wallet
Authorities have not yet determined the total amount stolen.
Getaway and Investigation
Police say the suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan or small SUV. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The case remains under investigation by the Stratford Police Department.
