TUCSON, Ariz. – A shooting at a Tucson mall on Wednesday evening forced shoppers to evacuate, sending two people to the hospital.
Police reported that two individuals were shot at Park Place Mall in Tucson and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m., triggering a heavy police presence and leading officials to evacuate and shut down the mall immediately.
Authorities said the situation was not classified as an active shooter incident, and no additional injuries have been reported.
