Two 18-year-olds were taken into custody after reports of gunfire near Coolidge Park on Saturday night, according to Chattanooga police.
Officers responded to 150 River Street around 9:21 p.m. after receiving calls about shots being fired and people fleeing the scene. With assistance from witnesses, surveillance cameras and drones, police were able to identify and track down the suspects, the department said in a Facebook post.

Officers detained one suspect at the scene, while the second ran into a nearby neighborhood before officers found him hiding in a backyard and took him into custody, according to the online post. Officers, along with a K-9 unit, also recovered firearms and shell casings at the scene.
Police identified the suspects as Demarion Langston and London Porter, both 18, and charged them with possession of a stolen firearm, felony reckless endangerment, threats of mass violence and disorderly conduct. Although gunfire struck several vehicles in the area, police said no injuries were reported.
